Protein und Energie Soltau GmbH is a subsidiary of Fritz Köster Handelsgesellschaft AG and was founded in 2003. The objective was to manufacture a special feed from yeast cell walls to strengthen animal health. In order to design energy-intensive drying of the yeast cell walls in a reasonable and ecologically justifiable way, we decided to build a biogas plant in Soltau, which we still continue to operate, even after being sold to a financially strong investor. Other operators can now profit from our team’s years of experience, because we have developed into an all-rounder in the area of biogas:

We offer commercial and technical consulting for the setup and operation of large biogas plants under the brand ProEnServ. With our trace elements under the brand ProEn Trace Elements, we also ensure that these plants can be utilised at their full potential. Naturally, we still continue to sell the high-quality special feed ProEnMune, which contains glucan.
Today, our team consists of a three-man management board as well as 7 employees. We are responsible for almost 300 plants that together generate 150 MW of electrical energy each year.
